ASPECTOS NEUROIMUNOLÓGICOS DO LÚPUS ERITEMATOSO SISTÊMICO: RELAÇÃO ENTRE A ATIVIDADE DA DOENÇA E SAÚDE MENTAL

Resumo

O Lúpus Eritematoso Sistêmico (LES) é uma doença autoimune complexa caracterizada por ampla ativação inflamatória e comprometimento de múltiplos órgãos que envolve alterações neuroimunológicas e pode impactar significativamente a saúde mental dos pacientes. Este trabalho tem como objetivo analisar a relação entre a atividade do LES e os indicadores de saúde mental dos pacientes, no qual serão aplicados instrumentos validados, como o clinical Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Disease Activity Index 2000 (cSLEDAI-2K) para avaliação da atividade da doença e o DASS-21 para mensurar sintomas de depressão, ansiedade e estresse. Dessa forma, pretende-se investigar a associação entre estes escores, buscando compreender se a maior atividade inflamatória da doença está relacionada a piores desfechos em saúde mental. Os resultados evidenciaram elevada atividade da doença na amostra (SLEDAI = 29,67 ± 15,72), com predomínio de pacientes classificados com atividade muito alta (76,2%). Em relação à saúde mental, foram observados escores médios de 16,52 ± 11,37 para depressão, 13,05 ± 9,32 para ansiedade e 19,24 ± 11,18 para estresse. Houve correlação positiva moderada entre a atividade do LES e os sintomas de depressão (ρ = 0,476; p = 0,001) e ansiedade (ρ = 0,451; p = 0,003), enquanto a associação com estresse não foi estatisticamente significativa (ρ = 0,296; p = 0,057). Esses achados sugerem que maior atividade da doença está associada a pior saúde mental, especialmente nos domínios de depressão e ansiedade. Conclui-se que maior atividade da doença está associada ao aumento de sintomas depressivos e ansiosos, reforçando a possivel necessidade da avaliação sistemática da saúde mental e a importacia dessa adoção nas estratégias terapêuticas no acompanhamento de pacientes com LES.
