Resumo

O lúpus é uma doença autoimune crônica em que o sistema de defesa do corpo se confunde e ataca seus próprios tecidos saudáveis. Essa condição pode afetar órgãos como pele, articulações, rins, cérebro e pulmões, funcionando em ciclos que alternam períodos de crise e de remissão. Entre os sintomas mais comuns estão a mancha vermelha no formato de borboleta. Este artigo teve como objetivo analisar o papel da alimentação e de nutrientes com potencial anti-inflamatório no cuidado de pessoas com LES, com ênfase em vitamina D, ácidos graxos ômega-3, fibras alimentares, vitaminas C e do complexo B, microbiota intestinal e padrão alimentar. Trata-se de uma revisão narrativa, qualitativa e descritiva, baseada em literatura científica identificada nas bases PubMed, SciELO e Biblioteca Virtual em Saúde, considerando publicações entre 2016 e 2026. A análise temática reuniu evidências sobre nutrientes, microbiota e padrões alimentares relacionados ao LES. Os achados sugerem potencial benefício de uma alimentação equilibrada, rica em alimentos in natura ou minimamente processados, fibras e fontes de gorduras insaturadas, além da adequação da vitamina D quando houver insuficiência. Resultados promissores também são descritos para o consumo de ômega-3, enquanto a modulação da microbiota por fibras representa uma área de interesse crescente. Entretanto, existem limitações relacionadas à heterogeneidade dos estudos e à ausência de recomendações dietéticas específicas e universalmente estabelecidas para o LES. Conclui-se que a intervenção nutricional individualizada pode contribuir para o cuidado integral e para a qualidade de vida, sem substituir o tratamento médico.
