NUTRIENTES, COMPOSTOS BIOATIVOS E SUPLEMENTAÇÃO NUTRICIONAL EM PROCESSOS INFLAMATÓRIOS ASSOCIADOS À ENDOMETRIOSE: REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA

A endometriose é uma condição ginecológica crônica e inflamatória cuja fisiopatologia envolve estresse oxidativo, angiogênese, alterações imunológicas e proliferação celular, o que tem motivado a investigação de estratégias nutricionais como abordagem complementar ao tratamento. Este estudo teve como objetivo investigar as evidências científicas acerca do papel de nutrientes, compostos bioativos e da suplementação nutricional na endometriose e seus efeitos sobre processos inflamatórios. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa da literatura, realizada nas bases PubMed/MEDLINE, LILACS e SciELO, incluindo estudos publicados entre 2016 e 2026, dos quais 12 estudos primários realizados em humanos compuseram a síntese dos resultados, envolvendo ácidos graxos ômega-3, vitamina D, N-acetilcisteína, curcumina e resveratrol. Os estudos demonstraram potencial de atuação sobre processos inflamatórios, estresse oxidativo, angiogênese e proliferação celular, além de resultados favoráveis em certos desfechos clínicos. Entretanto, os achados foram heterogêneos e, em alguns casos, divergentes. Conclui-se que, embora exista plausibilidade biológica para a atuação dos compostos investigados, as evidências disponíveis ainda são insuficientes para estabelecer benefícios clínicos consistentes, indicando a necessidade de estudos com maior rigor metodológico, maior tamanho amostral e maior padronização.
