ESTRATÉGIAS NUTRICIONAIS PARA CORREDORES MÁSTER AMADORES ACIMA DE 50 ANOS: RECUPERAÇÃO E PRESERVAÇÃO DA MASSA MUSCULAR

Resumo

 A expansão da corrida de rua entre adultos acima de 50 anos traz desafios fisiológicos marcantes, como a resistência anabólica, o estresse oxidativo e a perda progressiva de força e massa muscular. O objetivo deste estudo foi analisar as estratégias nutricionais voltadas à recuperação e à preservação da massa magra em corredores amadores máster saudáveis (faixa M50/W50). Trata-se de uma revisão narrativa da literatura que sintetizou evidências científicas publicadas na última década sobre requerimentos energéticos, fracionamento de macronutrientes, micronutrientes e fitoquímicos. Os achados indicam que o fracionamento proteico ao longo do dia, associado ao alcance do limiar de leucina (2,5 g a 3,0 g) por refeição principal, é indispensável para superar a resistência anabólica na maturidade. De forma integrada, a aplicação do modelo dos 4 Rs (reidratar, reabastecer, reparar e repousar), a adequação de carboidratos ajustada à rotina amadora (3 g a 5 g/kg/dia) e a otimização de micronutrientes reguladores (vitamina D e magnésio) sustentam a função neuromuscular e previnem lesões osteotendíneas. Adicionalmente, o uso de matrizes alimentares da sociobiodiversidade amazônica ricas em compostos bioativos desponta como alternativa promissora para conter o inflammaging e favorecer o reparo tecidual. Conclui-se que a prescrição dietética individualizada, ajustada ao perfil hormonal de cada sexo e às demandas do atleta amador, é fundamental para promover a longevidade esportiva funcional.
