Abstract

Introduction: In recent years, the field of cardiology has witnessed significant advances in the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias, which are heart rhythm disorders capable of severely affecting individuals' health and quality of life. Arrhythmias range from irregular or accelerated heartbeats, such as atrial fibrillation, to potentially fatal conditions, such as ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation.

Methodology: The integrative review will be conducted following a systematic approach to identify, select, and synthesize the relevant literature on advances in the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias. The methodology will be divided into four main stages: formulation of the research question, literature search, study selection, and data synthesis.

Results: Interdisciplinary collaboration among cardiologists, biomedical engineers, data scientists, and researchers is essential to continue driving progress in this field.

Conclusion: In conclusion, recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias represent a significant milestone in cardiology, offering new hope for patients and physicians.
