O PROCESSO DE INDIVIDUAÇÃO NA CONSTRUÇÃO DO ÜBERMENSCH CIENTÍFICO: UM PRÓLOGO DE CONVERGÊNCIA EPISTEMOLÓGICA ENTRE NIETZSCHE E JUNG

Abstract

Modern science, while advancing technically, seems to have distanced itself from its symbolic and existential dimensions. However, history shows that the great scientific revolutions did not arise from mere empirical observation, but from creative processes deeply rooted in the human psyche. This article proposes a dialogue between Carl Gustav Jung’s analytical psychology and Friedrich Nietzsche’s philosophy, seeking to understand how the process of individuation can contribute to the formation of the scientific Übermensch, the scientist who breaks paradigms, transcends the limits of tradition, and constructs new forms of knowledge. The theoretical investigation demonstrated that the individuated scientist is not confined to technical rationality but integrates reason and intuition, objectivity and subjectivity, thus becoming a creative and self-transcendent agent. In this sense, individuation emerges not only as a psychological process but also as a symbolic model of epistemological construction, in which the act of knowing coincides with the act of self-transformation.
