DIFERENÇAS ENTRE O REDIMENTO MÉDIO DA PRODUÇÃO DA SOJA DOS ESTADOS BRASILEIROS

Abstract

The present study analyzes the historical evolution of soybean productivity in the ten main producing states of Brazil from 1989 to 2023, based on the economic and environmental transformations that have driven soybean farming in the country. The research is situated within the scope of regional analysis of agricultural productivity, with particular emphasis on interstate productivity disparities.The methodological approach adopted is quantitative and descriptive in nature, employing secondary data from the SIDRA/IBGE database, which were subjected to statistical treatment through analysis of variance (ANOVA) in order to verify the existence of statistically significant differences among the states analyzed.The results indicate that, although Brazil stands out as a global powerhouse in soybean production and exports, there is marked heterogeneity among states in terms of productivity. Such disparities are attributed to multiple factors, including edaphoclimatic conditions, the level of technical expertise of producers, access to technology, cooperative support, and public policies.The study further highlights that factors such as soil quality, climate variability, and technical-informational capital significantly influence average soybean yields, thereby requiring differentiated support and investment policies in less productive regions to promote their long-term sustainability.
