Abstract

This article aims to evaluate the clinical aspects of pharyngotonsillitis performed in the last five years. Integrative review in the BVS, LILACS, SciELO, PubMed database of works published between 2020 and 2024, combining the descriptors "nephrolithiasis", "diagnosis" and "treatment" with the Boolean descriptor "AND". In conclusion, nephrolithiasis is a very common pathology, affecting 5-15% of the general population, with a prevalence in males. The incidence of kidney stones depends on geographic, climatic, ethnic, dietary and genetic factors. Non-contrast computed tomography is considered the gold standard for diagnosis.
