Abstract

This study analyzed the organizational diagnosis at Comércio Santos, a retail microenterprise located in Iranduba, Amazonas, aiming to identify factors influencing its growth and propose an action plan to improve managerial efficiency. A descriptive qualitative-quantitative approach was adopted, with data collection through semi-structured interviews, Likert-scale questionnaires, direct observations, and tools such as Balanced Scorecard (BSC), SWOT analysis, and GUT Matrix. Results showed strengths like product pricing (score 4) and customer relationships, but weaknesses in logistics, operational costs, suppliers, and marketing (overall administrative performance average: 2.6), with monthly revenue between R$15,000 and R$20,000, challenges in Manaus sourcing, and reliance on only three fixed suppliers. BSC indicators propose targets like 30% stockout reduction and 10% profit margin increase. It is concluded that organizational diagnosis, integrated with tools like SWOT, GUT, and 5W2H, is strategic for optimizing processes, enhancing competitiveness, and promoting sustainable development of SMEs in regions like Iranduba, guiding decisions for expansion and modernization.
