Abstract

Business logistics constitutes a strategic element for competitiveness, especially in micro and small businesses operating in challenging regional contexts, such as the Amazon. This study aims to analyze the logistics chain of a clothing retail company located in Tomé-Açu/PA, identifying its main bottlenecks and proposing improvement strategies. A qualitative, descriptive approach was adopted, through a case study, using semi-structured interviews with the manager and employees, as well as direct observation of the processes. The results highlight deficiencies in inventory management, the absence of integrated systems (ERP), disorganization in storage layout, and delays in physical distribution, factors that compromise operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. As recommendations, the adoption of integrated management systems, the reorganization of the storage flow, and staff training are emphasized. It is concluded that the study contributes to the literature on logistics in microenterprises and provides practical support for improving management in the Amazonian context.
